UWS Radio’s Riverside Sessions
Broadcast Audio & On-Demand Video, 2022-
The Riverside Sessions are a series of Live Lounge programmes featuring artists who are students of the UWS Commercial Music course or are from the local area. These are recorded either in the ‘Live Lounge’ situated in the university’s radio suite or in a newer Multimedia space which was inaugurated in late 2022.
I have a variety of roles in the production of these sessions – Exec Producer, Lighting engineer, Rigging engineer and Free-Hand Camera Operator.
The playlist containing all current sessions is linked to the right.

David Allan’s Record Shop
RTS Scotland Student Awards Nominated Production, 2014
A Studio Production recorded for a university module, this was submitted to the RTS Scotland Student Awards and was nominated in the ‘Entertainment’ Category.
‘David Allan’s Record Shop’ was a hypothetical record store where bands would visit and perform before a short interview.
They’d then select a record to take home from the (very DIY) “shelves” behind me. Given that Deacon Blue’s Jim Prime was assessing them, they tried to curry favour with him and gain marks by selecting Deacon Blue’s “Raintown”.
Filmed in UWS TV Studio 1 using a Tri-Caster system.
